I had all these grand expansive plans for what I was going to do for the thanksgiving holiday.  It's Lee's year to have Rohan for thanksgiving :(  so we had had our thanksgiving the previous weekend.

So in light of my bear-less-ness here is what I was going to do during my little free mini-vacation. I was going to surprise my grandparents by driving down to see them.  I was going to really clean my house  (been kinda neglecting it recently).  I was going to sleep in late. Also, and most importantly I was going to game like there was no tomorrow.

Yeah, right.  I woke up Thursday morning at 4:00 in the morning and I couldn't breathe.  It was your wonderful coughing, hacking, wheezing, ear aching, throat hurting type cold. And it persisted through Monday.  I still can't talk reliably and this cough is probably driving my cube mates nuts.

So instead of my grand 4 days of fun and productivity I got 4 days of medicine, cough drops, and laying on the couch.  I did get a bit of gaming done but it's kind of hard to focus on anything but turn based gaming when you can't stop coughing and blowing your nose.  Thank god for Lost Odyssey and Dragon Quest VII.

So there it is and here I am.  Back at my computer trying to get work done.  Rant over.

By the way,  hope everybody else had a happy thanksgiving.  :)
