Let the holiday madness begin

Tomorrow officially marks the start of the 2008 holiday madness season.  We are having our thanksgiving dinner in the office tomorrow.  Part of it is catered and the rest is pot luck.  I'm bringing queso.  IMO you can't have turkey without queso.  Plus I'm not a real big cook so bringing in the crock pot and melting some cheese and rotel in it sounded fairly easy and straight forward.

After the big lunch I will hit the road and head down to my grandparents in Mart for an early thanksgiving.  Because of Rohan's custody schedule I have Rohan every other thanksgiving (same goes for christmas and new years).  In order to ensure Rohan gets to see everybody, especially his great-grandparents, we usually end up moving holidays around to suit everybody's schedule.  It doesn't matter much to my family what day it's on.  Whatever day you are together works just fine whether it happens before or after the actual holiday.

Today I work from home.  Thank goodness. Gave me a chance to get laundry done and pack for the trip.  That is all for now, the buzzer on the dryer just went off...
